You’ve Gotta Feel It to Heal It: Libra Full Moon & Venus Direct

On April 12th, 2025, we’re met with two cosmic events:

1) A Full Moon in Libra

2) Venus stationing direct

Let’s break down why this day is more than just a pretty moon in the sky—because beneath the surface, there’s a deep call for reckoning, release, and reclaiming your power.

A woman sits serenely in the water as the full moon rises in Libra, casting a reflective glow and symbolizing themes of love and peace.

Venus Stations Direct: A Rebirth of Value & Worth

After 42 days of retrograde motion, Venus—the planet of love, beauty, and values—stations direct. Over the past several weeks, we’ve been reviewing what and who we truly value. This retrograde cycle has been a mirror, reflecting back all the ways we may have compromised our truth, avoided accountability, or clung to fantasies that no longer serve.

Now, as Venus turns direct, she doesn’t rise alone. She’s trine Saturn, the planet of time, karma, and boundaries. This isn’t just a soft return to love—it’s a sobering realization. One that can provide maturity & growth

Libra Full Moon: Releasing the Illusion of Harmony

Libra is ruled by Venus, so this Full Moon carries her signature. At first glance, it might feel soft, romantic, even hopeful. But make no mistake—this is not a light-and-fluffy lunation.

Full Moons are always about culmination and clarity. What’s been hidden now comes into full view. In Libra, this Moon shines a light on the dynamics of relationship, self-worth, fairness, and peace—but peace that’s rooted in truth, not illusion.

This is your invitation to get real with yourself:

  • Where have you been trading authenticity for approval?

  • What has pretending cost you?

  • What relationship patterns are ready to be released?

Mars Opposite Pluto: Releasing the Rage Beneath the Surface

Just to turn up the volume, we’ve also got Mars in Cancer opposing Pluto in Aquarius on the same day. This is no small transit. Mars is action, drive, and sometimes, aggression. Pluto is transformation, power, and the underworld of our psyche. When these two face off, old resentments, buried anger, and deeply repressed emotions can rise to the surface.

Don’t panic. This doesn’t mean you have to explode—but it does mean you’ll feel the pressure. You may be triggered. You may be tempted to react from your wounds.

But you’re not here to repeat cycles. You’re here to heal them.

This Full Moon is bringing to light the internal choices—often made unconsciously—that led to self-abandonment. The people-pleasing, the silence, the suppressed anger… it’s all asking to be seen, felt, and released.

How to work with this Moon cycle:

  • Write & Burn: Journal about the places in your life where you’ve felt disempowered in relationships. Be honest. Be raw. Then safely burn or bury it as a symbolic release.

  • Create Beauty with Boundaries: Venus loves beauty—create a sacred space for yourself. Light candles. Take a cleansing bath. Adorn your altar. And as you do, reflect on the boundaries you’re ready to reinforce.

  • Feel to Heal: Let yourself feel what’s coming up. Rage, grief, sadness, longing—none of it is wrong. All of it is valid. Give it a voice, and then let it move through you.

Here's the sacred reality check, this Libra Full Moon isn’t about keeping the peace at any cost. It’s about choosing peace by facing the truth.

And when Venus meets Saturn, and Mars faces Pluto, we’re reminded: The moment you take accountability for the part you’ve played…the moment you release self-abandonment and reclaim self-trust…is the moment you take your power back.

This lunation is your invitation to step into your Sacred Reality—where your values, your voice, and your inner balance are no longer negotiable.
